J Series
The PID control of Omron’s E5AJ (1/4 DIN) and E5EJ (1/8 DIN) temperature controllers is optimized by using fuzzy adaptive tuning to adapt for continuously changing conditions. Both models offer an externally selectable second set point, digital inputs for Run/Stop operations, field-selectable inputs, scalable ranges, built-in heater burnout alarm and plug-in interchangeable outputs for easy long term maintenance. The large LED display shows both process and set values at a glance. All offer two alarm outputs each with 9 field-selectable functions. Serial communications are available for 1/4 and 1/8 DIN models.

The E5CJ 1/16 DIN temperature controller has continuous fuzzy adaptive tuning of PIF constants in three versions. Combinations include two alarm outputs, one event input and heater burnout alarm (E5CJ-ð 2HB), two alarm outputs and no event input (E5CJ-ð 2) or no alarm outputs or event input (E5CJ-ð). Select the output type by model number.

N Series
Omron’s newest series of temperature control features four DIN-sized models 1/4 , 1/8, 1/16, and now offering a compact 1/32 DIN which mounts in a 24 X 48mm panel cutout. These controllers feature a dual display of present value and set value, which allows the operator to monitor performance at a glance. On/Off or 2-PID (auto-tuning and self-tuning) control methods are available. The use of both, auto-tuning and self-tuning help speed up a response to a process upset. Self-tuning continuously selects the proper control algorithm for the situation while, auto-tuning can be invoked during self-tuning to change the control parameters on the fly. Other features include multiple alarm outputs: 3 points on 1/4 & 1/8 DIN models, 2 points 1/16 DIN and 1 point 1/32 DIN, dual control: heat or heat/cool, and serial communications or event input options are available. The NEMA-4X front panel makes these models ideal for a water washdown evnvironment. OEMs can confidently build these temperature controllers into equipment for domestic and international use since they conform to CE, UL & CSA standards.

E5C2
This low cost, no frills plug in temperature controller does not sacrifice performance. It gives accuracy better than ± 2% full scale and a dual-scale analog setting dial. This 1/16 DIN plug-in unit fits standard 8-pin sockets and is supplied with a panel adapter for easy mounting of several units. Choose ON/OFF or PD control models.

E5C4
Excellent for general-purpose control, this 1/16 DIN controller is compact and offers a large LED display. It fits standard 8-pin sockets, has the ease of being a plug-in and comes with a panel-mounting adapter. It provides accuracy better than ± 2% full scale and a thumbwheel setting. Select separate models for control mode, control output type, sensor input type and scale range.

K Series
Controllers in the K-Series have six programming levels that allow users to set parameter values, monitor current settings and field-calibrate the controller. Units in this series also accept 22 input types (including temperature, current and voltage type) and have UL, CSA and CE approvals across the board. Additionally, the controllers in this series are rated NEMA 4X and are programmable from the front panel.

Both the 1/8 and the 1/4 size (E5AK and E5EK) feature temperature and process control capacity that compliments their Ramp to Setpoint, Remote Set Point and multiple options (E5AK) features. These units offer incredible flexibility:
