A dedicated multiplexing protocol that reduces 16 or 32 I/O points to just two or three wires per master module on a PLC rack. Special connectors allow high-density I/O modules to connect to B7A terminals.


B7A Link Overview
  • Up to 32 directly connected I/O, multiplexed over twisted-pair cables
  • Transmission distance: 100 m at 3 ms or 500 m at 19.2 ms, selectable
  • Reduces wiring of 32 I/O points back to the controller to just 2 or 3 wires
