MOISTURE
AND CONTAMINATION RESISTANT LEADS
|
Fig. T-Teflon®
Seal
Swaged
in Teflon seal and leads resist oil and water up to 482
F/250
C maximum application temperature. Available in Mighty Watt construction
in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" diameters. Minimum unheated
area at lead end is 1". Standard lead length is 12".
Also see Fig.
E Epoxy Seal information shown previously. Other materials are
available to seal lead end for higher temperatures including epoxylite
and hermetic seal. Consult Ogden.

FLANGED HEATERS

Mighty
Watt Cartridge Heaters can be manufactured with flanged located at
any point along sheath with adequate unheated area. Type W flanged
can also be attached to Fig. U unheated section on stock items. |
FIG. X HIGH TEMPERATURE FULLY FLEXIBLE LEADS
 |
The
Fig. X modification is high temperature, fiberglass braided, mica
tape insulated lead wires internally connected and swaged in place.
Fully flexible from the exit of the sheath, the high temperature (850
F/450
C) lead wires are ideal for applications where spacing is limited
and flexing occurs. On the Fig. X Mighty Watt Plus, the modification
adds 1/4" to the sheath length of stock items. 12" leads
are standardspecify additional length.
* At lead
end. Standard cold sections can be increased. Consult Ogden
for metric diameter dimensions.
