Babbitt RF Level Switch
The LS6000 is a basic, general-purpose level switch that can measure virtually any liquid, dry material or interface of electrically conductive or non-conductive products. The proprietary radio frequency (RF) balanced impedence bridge has exceptional temperature stability, thus eliminating the need to recalibrate the unit from season to season.
The probe is made of solid 316 stainless steel rod and the insulator is made of Delrin. The seals are made with Viton "O" rings. All the electronics are housed in a cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure.

Calibration
All the necessary calibration indicators are on-board so all you need to calibrate the LS6000 is a small screwdriver.
When the probe is installed, it is calibrated in absence of material touching the probe. When the desired material comes in contact with the probe, the LS6000 is activated and gives the desired output.
If the probe you ordered is too long, simply cut it off to the desired length with a saw. If you need to add length, just weld on additional rods. Probes of all lengths are available from the factory.
Fail-safe electronics provide peace of mind. The modular electronics make trouble shooting and repair a snap. The entire unit is backed by ourtwo year warranty. |
