INTERBUS ST

For INTERBUS-ST, you no longer need a control cabinet, or any cabinets for that matter; a standard terminal block will do. INTERBUS-ST is simply latched onto the mounting rails.

All the electronics are plug-in, while the sensor/actuators on the totally passive base terminal block are connected by PHOENIX CONTACT quality terminals.

The modularity of INTERBUS-ST guarantees that digital and analog input/output functions, for example, as well as many special functions, can be combined in any desired arrangement - just as with ordinary terminal blocks.

The INTERBUS-ST fieldbus terminals are available in two sizes, with 8, 16 and 32 I/O channels, and with multi-wire terminal points for the connection of two-wire, three-wire and four-wire sensor/actuators. Additional variants include analog interfaces for four analog inputs or outputs.

Replaceable module electronics guarantee reliable operation
The electronics modules can be replaced without having to remove even one conductor from the terminal strip. No additional manual adjustments are necessary. Just install the new electronics, and you're up and running.

Generous labeling areas are guaranteed to facilitate work during installation and maintenance

Moreover, when the terminal blocks are clamped in place, the protective conductor between INTERBUS-ST and the mounting rail is connected automatically.

Power Supply
Sensors and actuators within one module can be connected to different potential levels. If necessary, these potential levels can be easily connected to one another using insertable jumpers.

Labeling
The fold-out labeling field ensures the necessary clarity for work on the equipment. Longer, more informative signal names can be assigned to a terminal point.

The labeling fields can also be filled out using the IBS LABEL SWT.
