The production plans for the Audi TT are taking shape steadily. The first model planned is the Audi TT Coupe followed by the Model TT Roadster.

INTERBUS is a firm feature in the body shop systems. The system is being planned by Audi AG in Ingolstadt. Drautz GmbH of Heilbronn and the welding system manufacturer, Kuka Schweißanlagen GmbH of Augsburg, have been charged with building the system. Kuka robot controllers and Fase welding controllers are to be networked to the higher-level Simatic S5 controllers. INTERBUS-ST and IP 65 components are the decentralized peripherals responsible for the production of the Audi TT.
