It is operated mainly via the new developed control desk. From here, the individual printing machines, as well as the numerous special devices are controlled. | ||
In order to allow modularity of the assemblies, the various control signals must be transmitted via pluggable connection systems. To ensure safe transmission of the control signals in the heavy machines, VARIOCON from the EMC series is used. |

The new automation concept with distributed system architecture has been made possible by project planning in cooperation with PHOENIX CONTACT. With VARIOCON, the proven Planeta principle of aggregate design has been realized in the Rapida series. The direct p.c.b. connection is located on the board and connected via COMBICON termination blocks. Using VARICON as a T-coupler allows trouble-free operation as well as efficient retrofitting. The printing plate can, for example, be exchanged automatically via command from the control desk and the state of the machine can be displayed at any time at the control desk.
