Uptime Automation

  • Engineered systems interface and integration services
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Program ladder logic for the controls of automated and semi-automated equipment to accomplish fluid level control, temperature control, motion logic control, and other automated functions. Experienced with PLC manufacturers such as General Electric, Mitsubishi, Omron, Control Technology Corporation (CTC), and Koyo, as well as various types of user interface accessories associated with the PLC.
  • Motion Control:  PC based motion control and PLC motion control, with various types of robots including scarab, 6 DOF robots, 2 axis transfer robots, and single axis motion. Knowledge includes electrical wiring and programming.
  • PC Control: Work with software (i.e. Wonderware and Think and Do) that has a windows based Human Machine Interface (HMI) as well as logic control capabilities. Experience included design of HMI interface and programming logic.
  • Hardware: Design and debug electrical systems for automated machines. Electronic design and debug requiring the creation of electrical schematics. Optical Sensors, temperature sensors, magnetic sensors, solenoids, relays, contactors, transformers, and other devices were included as part of the electrical system. Plumbing debugging required the knowledge of plumbing schematics, plumbing components (i.e. Air Operated Valves, Check valves, Filters, Pressure gauges, etc.), and the basic principles of fluid and gas flow.
