Big Blue Housings are manufactured of reinforced FDA grade polypropylene in both 10" and 20" 1 lengths The specially designed Hig h Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) cap is available with either r a 1" or 1 1/2" (25 or 38 mm) NPT port. All housings are sealed with a top seated #357 Buna-N 0-ring and use Acme square threads for closure. Four Bosses are provided in each cap for mounting to either aluminum or 304 stainless steel "L" brackets.

Big Blue Housings are ideal substitutes for costly low pressure stainless steel vessels. The larger body size allows for extra large cartridges and high flow rates. The #10 models are recommended for flow rates up to 25 G PM (95 L P M) with sediment cartridges; the #20 models for flow rates up to 50 GPM (189 LPM) with sediment cartridges. Housings can be piped in parallel to obtain higher flow rates. Polypropylene construction offers excellent chemical compatibility with water, beverages and syrups; all polypropylene construction with a broad range of chemicals.

#10 BB 1" takes a 9 3/4" to 9 7/8" (248 to 251 mm) cartridge with flows of 1 to 20 GPM (4 to 76 LPM).
#20 BB 1" with flows of 1 - 40 GPM (4 to 151 LPM) #1 0 BB 1 1/2" takes a by 9 3/4" to 9 7/8" (248 to 251 mm) cartridge with flows of 1 to 25 GPM (4to 95 LPM).
#20 BB11/2" with flows of1-50 GPM (4 to189 LPM).
